Breaktime Supervisors





GRADE 2 - Part Time, Casual/ Fixed Term/ Permanent Contracts available.


Required as soon as possible.


We have vacancies for committed individuals to join our team as Breaktime Supervisors.


The posts are paid at Grade 2 (currently £9.50 per hour).


We are particularly looking for people who could supervise lunchtimes between 12.55-1.40pm, Monday-Friday, term-time only.


The posts can be offered on a permanent or fixed term basis (a contract to work the same number of hours every week, paid monthly), or a casual basis (hours offered and worked when needed, claimed monthly and paid a month in arrears).


We are looking for individuals who can:


  • Oversee the supervision of activities and maintain the health, safety, welfare, good conduct and safeguarding of pupils during the morning and midday breaks;
  • Undertake playground supervision;
  • Set up and run activities for pupils in playground areas;
  • Report incidents in line with school policy;
  • Liaise with colleagues on how to meet any individual pupil needs (e.g. SEN);
  • Ensure adequate first aid treatment is available during the midday break;
  • Undertake similar work at other times such as before and after school.
