Welcome to All Saints’ Catholic High School
A part of the Romero Catholic Academy Trust
|Mr Xavier Bowers||Mr Steve Wilson|
|Executive Headteacher||Head of School|
Welcome to All Saints’ RC High School which is proud to be part of the Romero Catholic Academy Trust. The school is part of the Diocese of Salford and graded good in all aspects in the last Section 48 inspection in November 2016. We have recently been inspected by Ofsted in an ‘ungraded inspection’ (December 2022).
Firstly, we would like to introduce ourselves. I have been proud and privileged to be Headteacher at Mount Carmel RC High School, Accrington for the past 11 years. I was asked by the Trust to work with the school from September 2022, but have recently agreed to take on the role of Executive Headteacher of All Saints’ RC High School, for the spring and summer terms for 3 days per week, (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) and Mr Steve Wilson (former Headteacher of Pendle Vale College, Nelson where he worked for 15 years) will take on the role as Head of School 2 days per week, (Monday and Tuesday).
We are both really looking forward to working with governors, staff, pupils and parents to continue the good work of the autumn term and build on the recent successful Ofsted inspection.
We are proud to be the only Catholic secondary school in the Rosendale Valley. We offer a high quality of education in all aspects for all pupils who live in the local area. Although we are a Catholic school, we also welcome pupils of all faiths and none, as long as they share our school mission and values. Currently, pupils from over 30 primary schools in the area attend the school.
As pupils grow and develop as fully rounded, responsible, young people academically, morally, socially and spiritually. We also want to ensure that all pupils understanding of the Catholic faith and traditions are a central part of their school life and an essential part the journey of preparing them for the future.
We are a small secondary school and take great pride in knowing and caring for each and every pupil really well. We see the school as one big family who looks after each other and looks out for each other on a daily basis.
We want all our pupils to enjoy school and look forward to coming to school every day. We aim for all of our pupils to be safe and feel safe at school but also have the confidence to share any concerns with staff so they can be resolved quickly.
We set high expectations for all staff and pupils and enjoy positive relationships with parents and external agencies so that all pupils achieve their potential and are well prepared for their future lives.
