Intent

Our vision for the department is to foster a curiosity, appreciation and confident application of mathematics in all students through teachers who are knowledgeable and passionate about their subject; teachers who have the highest expectations of themselves and students, who model hard work and excellence in everything they do. We want our students to become adults who have qualifications which reflect their potential, who are mathematically fluent, able to solve problems in a logical and considered manner and who are not afraid to share their love of the art of mathematics with the world!
