Our trip to Turf Moore was a trip only a few people are able to go on so this was an amazing opportunity. Being a lifelong Burnley fan myself, it made it very interesting to find out about the amount of STEM that goes on in a single game of football.  The day at Turf Moore consisted of a warm welcome from the 'BFC in the Community team' who then led an outstanding activity teaching us how to correctly programme a ball into a net using code. We also had to use statistics of famous football players to try and figure out where we would go to save the ball based on where they were likely to shoot the most. 

We were taken on an amazing tour around the stadium, pointing out everything that we could see that used STEM.  We even went into the conference room and pretended to question players, which was really fun.

It was overall such a fun-filled day, and we were all so grateful for this eye-opening opportunity.  I would go and do it a hundred times again!
