Student Mission Team

The Student Mission Team is a group of dedicated students who help to shape and strengthen the Catholic life of our school. Guided by our mission to be visible leaders of faith, service and prayer, team members work alongside staff and fellow students to ensure that Gospel values are lived out across the school community.
Mission Team students lead by example, organising and supporting prayer, liturgies, charitable activities and celebrations throughout the year. They also play an important role in evaluating and developing our Celebrations of the Word, gathering student feedback and helping to ensure that opportunities for prayer remain meaningful, engaging and relevant for all.
This year, the Mission Team launched its own Food Bank Collection, a new student-led initiative created to support local families and individuals experiencing hardship. Through promoting donations and raising awareness of local need, team members are putting Catholic Social Teaching into action and encouraging the whole school community to make a difference. The team also lead prayer during form time, helping students to reflect on scripture, mark key moments in the liturgical year and begin each day rooted in faith.
Through their service, Mission Team members develop confidence, leadership and teamwork skills while making a positive impact on the lives of others. Living out our school motto, "Let Your Light Shine," they inspire our community to know, live and share the Gospel through faith, service and prayer.
