Our Year 10 Buddy Team plays an important role in helping our new Year 7 pupils settle into life at All Saints’. Every other week, they visit their Year 7 form groups to help lead form-time discussions, offer support and encouragement, and build positive relationships. They are fantastic role models, helping our younger pupils feel welcome, grow in confidence and feel part of our school community. A brilliant example of our SHINE values in action!

I’m Henry, a Year 10 student, and I’m glad I signed up to be a Year 7 Buddy for multiple reasons. Firstly, when I was Year 7, I would’ve loved a buddy to talk to and relate to with a friendly face around the school. I also love supporting the newest generation of All Saints and being able to guide them on the right path to get the most out of their education. Finally, I think it’s something that is fun, new and something to look forward to on a Friday morning!
