Lancashire Sings March 2026!

After hours of choir practice, we were ready to make our way to Crossgate Church in Preston for Lancashire Sings. We were joined by many other schools from all over Lancashire.  To start off with we did some warm-ups using techniques shown to us by the Lancashire Sings leader Helen. We then proceeded to make our way to the front of the stage and started off with 'Wagon Wheel' which was a favourite from last year.  Then after a short break, we were ready to jump straight back in with 'Adeamus'. Then we sang popular songs such as Waterfalls (TLC), Chasing Cars (Snow Patrol) and Learn to Fly (Foo Fighters). At lunchtime, we were able to go outside and get some well-needed fresh air in the sunshine. After lunch we sang through all the songs we had learnt that day. It was a great day and I really enjoyed it.
