Prayer & Worship
Our Key Stage Masses are planned in accordance with the Liturgical Calendar of the Church. We also believe it is important to join together to celebrate milestones in our students' journey of faith – these are marked by Masses or Liturgies of Welcome, All Saints’ Day Mass, Advent, Lent and Easter, and the end of the school year. We also hold other events to mark significant occasions in our lives – for example, Remembrance Day (right to withdraw).
School Prayer
Lord Jesus, strengthen us to care and to stand up for what is right. Help us respect others for what they are to create more understanding, not less. Help us appreciate the gifts we have been given to resolve conflict. Inspire us to work for progress, peace and justice and to respect the dignity of all your children.
Amen

We are proud to have excellent links and relationships with our feeder primary schools. Each academic year, we gather as a Catholic Cluster of schools to celebrate our ‘Valley Masses’. We gather during the first half-term and have a commissioning of all GIFT Team members/ Pupil Chaplains from across the Valley; we then gather to celebrate the Joint Schools’ Advent Liturgy; and finally, during Lent. It is a great opportunity to celebrate our shared faith as a Valley Cluster. We also welcome our Clergy to concelebrate. Our links to our primary schools are also celebrated with our taster days for Y5 pupils and a sports day for all primary schools too.
